Brian Brohm - QB - Buffalo Bills

Bills signed QB Brian Brohm off the Packers' practice squad.

Brohm is unlikely to make a difference in Buffalo, but he's a worthwhile late-season pickup with the Bills going nowhere. The 2008 second-round pick lacked confidence throughout his 1 1/2-year stay in Green Bay. He has NFL-caliber tools, but probably needs a miracle-working position coach to fix his mindset. Brohm will finish out 2009 as Buffalo's No. 4 quarterback.

Dave Zastudil - P - Cleveland Browns

Browns placed P Dave Zastudil (groin) on injured reserve, ending his season.

The Cleveland native and former Ohio Bobcat will give way to Reggie Hodges for the remainder of the season. A new front office will decide in the offseason whether the 31-year-old punter is worth his $1.415M salary for 2010.

Steve Heiden - TE - Cleveland Browns

Browns placed TE Steve Heiden (ankle) on injured reserve, ending his season.

He finishes with 10 receptions for 73 yards and one touchdown in seven games. Heiden has been a Brown since 2002, but his career with the team will probably end in the offseason. The 33-year-old is due a $900,000 base salary in 2010 and has finished back-to-back seasons on injured reserve.

Jake Allen - WR - Cleveland Browns

Browns claimed WR Jake Allen off waivers from the Packers.

Cleveland has been very concerned with its special teams production, and Allen can contribute in that area. He won't make an impact at wide receiver.

Ronnie Brown - RB - Miami Dolphins

Dolphins placed RB Ronnie Brown (foot) on injured reserve, ending his season.

The extent of Brown's foot injury still hasn't been revealed, but the Dolphins wouldn't have ended his season so early if it wasn't significant. A Lisfranc fracture requiring surgery could jeopardize his availability for 2010 training camp. In standard leagues, Brown has been the No. 8 overall fantasy RB with eight all-purpose touchdowns, 746 total yards, and a rock-solid 4.4 YPC in nine starts. With no CBA deal on the horizon, Brown's 2010 option will likely kick in, keeping him in Miami. He's due $5 million in salary next season.

Corey Clark - T - San Diego Chargers

Chargers signed OT Corey Clark off their practice squad.

Clark, a seventh-round pick two Aprils ago, will provide depth at right tackle. He doesn't have much upside and will likely be inactive on Sundays.

Nov. 18, 2009 - 4:45 PM ET
Arnold Harrison - LB - Cleveland Browns

Browns claimed LB Arnold Harrison off waivers from the Steelers.

Harrison, 27, can offer Cleveland little more than special teams value.
